In preparation for the maiden launch of the Polaris program in cooperation with Elon Musk's SpaceX, billionaire entrepreneur Jared Isaacman is hard at work.

Fighter jets, including ones from Isaacman's private fleet, are being used by the four-person crew as they get ready for the Polaris Dawn mission, which will be their first trip into orbit.

Jared Isaacman, the founder and billionaire, shares the same passion for combat jets that astronauts do.

Fighter jets, including ones from Isaacman's private fleet, are being used by the four-person crew as they get ready for the Polaris Dawn mission, which will be their first trip into orbit.

Isaacman stated that the mission launch is anticipated "early next year," even though Polaris Dawn was initially planned to launch in the fourth quarter of 2022.

It is the first of three missions, the last of which will likely be the Starship rocket's first crewed launch from SpaceX.

SpaceX, according to Isaacman, is "making a lot of investments" in the project by creating spacesuits and modifying the Crew Dragon spaceship, among other things.
