SES Group post Security Satellite for Europe

The group of 20 European companies made an agreement for the Eagle-1 satellite which  is for three years of missions in low Earth orbit.

Eagle-1 satellites deliver secure networks to  monitor communication and change the state of the photons, destroying the keys.

China launched a Micius satellite that is the world’s first quantum-enabled satellite in 2016.

The University of Science and Technology of China has developed a smaller satellite.

Virgin Orbit launched the first LEO satellites by British quantum technology encryption startup Arqit in 2023.

European teams including Austria, Belgium, Canada and the Czech Republic ESA have a public-private partnership with Arqit.

Under its Advanced Research in Telecommunications Systems (ARTES) program,  The Eagle-1 project is co-funded by ESA.
